She was built in the days of the pioneers - some parts of the hotel date back to 1913. She carries herself with worn dignity - we don’t claim to have all the bells and whistles, but you can rest assured that she is warm, clean, comfortable and homely.

The hotel has a great history from the days when there were rail workers, farmers and saw millers. Then came the skiers - with stories of people sleeping in the hallways for lack of room in a blizzard. She has catered for people from all walks of life and given shelter and comfort to those that walked through her doors.
